Free Parent Info on ABA in Oregon

The Oregon Association for Behavior Analysis (ORABA) is pleased to offer a free, half-day informational event on Applied Behavior Analysis for parents of children with autism and other developmental disabilities. This event will include:

• A panel presentation on taking a leading role in your child’s IEP team, setting and meeting appro- priate IEP goals, and being an effective advocate for your child’s needs within the school system. (NOTE: This presentation addresses IEPs in general and is relevant even if your child does not receive ABA services.)

• An “Ask a BCBA” booth that gives you the opportunity to talk one on one with a BCBA about the theory and practice of Applied Behavior Analysis and how it can help your family.

• Exhibit tables with Oregon ABA providers.

• Opportunities for parents to meet other families for networking and mutual support.

• Snacks and refreshments.
